We love chocolate!  We love to sell chocolates!  We also think we need to give back - And we believe that our customer’s like to give as well.  So each month, we give back to a charity that is special to either one of us here at the Ultimate Chocolate Shoppe, or to one that one that is special to one of our customers! 

Yes, that means we’ve been known to email a customer or have contests and the winner gets to pick which charity we give to for that period.  Makes it a little more fun for everyone! 

This month we’ve chosen the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.  And I was the one that made the selection - Since I’m the one writing the blog I decided that it was my turn to pick!   It’s a group fighting a disease that my family members have dealt with in detail.  It reaches into all ages and all populations. 

In my family, we have had the disease show up as young as seven and have some that were diagnosed as adults.  Whatever the age, it is one of those events that is life changing for the individual as well as those around them.    The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is fighting this disease and working to improve the lives of the young people that are impacted by diabetes.

As we do each month, we will total up our sales and send a check in the name of all of our customers to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation -  We hope that you can assist us in this!
