Just this week pizza giant, Papa John’s has announced that it is going to bring out a new product into its dessert line - and it’s chocolate laden! Called Chocolate Pastry Delights, this delicious chocolate lovers dessert is designed to be the perfect ending to your evening pizza party.
The dessert is a warm flaky, puff pastry loaded on the inside with rich chocolate. And topping it all off with a white icing drizzled deliciously across the top. Each Chocolate Pastry Dessert comes with four pieces designed to share -
Getting a chocolate fix is difficult some days - Getting children to brush their teeth is a difficult thing some days as well! What if both things could be combined in one?
Well, the company Unilever, parent company of Close-Up brand toothpaste, created a toothpaste campaign that combined the delicious flavor of chocolate while getting all of the necessary ingredients for dental hygiene. The product has been called Choco-Loco. The product was launched in its Middle East market as a test to find new products that would consolidate its market share as well as target its teen market. What a concept!
Maybe a product like that should be introduced in the US! Just think how much better dental visits there could be with our kids -
A national day of celebration is coming up and I’ll bet there are alot of us that do not even know about it! It’s National Parents Day and it is celebrated on the 4th Sunday in the month of July.
It was created in 1994 by a joint Congressional Resolution and signed into law by then President Clinton. It’s purpose was for ”recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.” WIthout the loving support and assistance of our parents, as well as the time and energy that they gave to each of us where would we be?
President George Bush said it well in a statement published in 2003, “As a child’s first teachers, parents are the most influential and effective instructors in a child’s life. Through their words, actions, and sacrifices, parents are living examples for children. Young boys and girls watch their parents closely and imitate their behavior. Parents play a critical role in instilling responsibility, integrity, and other life lessons that shape the lives of America’s future leaders.”
So on July 27th, nationwide, there will be celebrations in homes and communities to honor the parents of our world. It’s a great time to join in and say thank you to those “parents” in your life and let them know that you recognize and appreciate what they have done for you.
